Let me warm you
The Venice Architecture Biennale is one of the world’s most important architectural events, where every two years national pavilions, curated exhibitions and an international professional audience come together to discuss the future of space, cities and society. It is a platform where architecture is understood not merely as the art of building but as a political, social and cultural practice.
The Estonian Pavilion at the 2025 Biennale stood out for its clear and socially attuned approach, receiving notable international attention and substantial coverage in the international architectural press. The exhibition was awarded the Installation Prize by the Architecture Endowment of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia. The display, originally presented in Venice, is now on view for Estonian audiences at the Estonian Museum of Architecture.
The exhibition explores the spatial paradoxes of renovation processes in pursuit of climate goals and questions whether insulation is just a bureaucratic checkbox for meeting EU targets or a real chance to tackle social and spatial challenges. It exposes the clash between bold global ambitions and the everyday realities of people navigating collective decisions.
